The Renaissance kitchen heart

The Renaissance kitchen hearth is one of the most imposing structures in the region, measuring 8m20 in length. Apart from the main hall, where the contents of the big cauldrons were cooked, it also had room for pots on either side, which were used to finish cooking the food and keep dishes warm.
